Drilling uPVC Door (Fitting Nest Hello Wired Doorbell)

This numpty is wondering if I would encounter any glass if I drill through the panel to the left of the front door? I think I should use 2/3mm steel bit for pilot hole and then 6mm??

the triangular glazing bead determines the width of the glass, you should keep at least 5mm right of that join, maybe more.
