Google Nest Hub Max Camera

    HI,
    Has anyone got a Google Nest Hub Max , I have just set one up but cant get the camera to work, constantly says it is offline on the Google home app and on the units itself say not available. Camera settings are on on the hub

    Any one come up against this problem

    I had the same problem, there's a "mute" button in the device that kept resetting, turning that off and restarting sorted it for me

    Ensure the privacy switch on back of the device is not switched on.
    Ensure the onscreen camera mute button (in the Settings tray of your Hub Max) on the device is not enabled.
    Force close and re-open the Google Home App.
    Reboot the Nest Hub Max device.

    thanks I checked that mute setting and it is on, no idea what is wrong as the camera is working I know as it is picking up the pause hand gesture

    I'd say get onto the Google Chat team and they'll bring you through the troubleshooting steps and if there is an issue they'll send you out a new 1 the next day, great service in my opinion.
