Renewing this for another 5years. Two questions.Note D "on expiry of this permit a return must be made to the address below if a return is not made..... A Nil return should be admitted if applicable."
Is there a particular form for this? Or do you just write on the form? Something like?
" I swear I have shot Nil wildfowl between 22016 and 2021... Honest cross my heart!"
    Signed ...

2 As I have no idea where I might be invited to shoot in the state in the next 5 years, foreshore or lake. Can you tick All boxes, or is this limited to your region of residence,[and proable covid travel restictions in the future]only?

"If you want to keep someone away from your house, Just fire the shotgun through the door."

That's the Schedule on mine issued on the 04/05/2017. This had changed somewhat, as far as I remember, from my previous application. They had gone from generic foreshore ie Co Dublin to naming specific areas. I still put in the general areas. I suppose you could state something like 'Wicklow Foreshore- excluding all sanctuary areas'

On my current license under terms and conditions section 10 it states 'a provision of a bag return may be required...' but I see the section you are referring to on the new one. I was asked to do a return on a section 35 for use of corvid decoys, as far as I remember there was no provision to do so, so I just filled in a few lines on the new application form.

I am seriously thinking the Dept is becoming more and more disconnected from the reality of every day hunting.
