    Couldn’t find a thread for suburra
    Great series so far, I’ve just finished the second and I’m loving it
    Without giving too much away it’s an Italian series focusing on the gangs of Rome - criminal political and religous

    Fans of Gomorrah will enjoy it

    The internet isn’t for everyone

    Suburra is the name of the film, for which Suburra: Blood on Rome is the prequel series.

    Just finished season 3; a really good ending to a well-worth watching gangster drama. Its definitely a pulpier version of the Neapolitan "Gomorrah" series, and deals a lot more with the political corruption which is tied in to gangsterism there. Where Gomorrah might be accused of taking itself too seriously, and aims for style, this is a lot more free-wheeling, with more diverse storylines.
    I must go back and watch the film again now.
