    I dont know any.
I'd be concerned that because it's not popular, if anyone sees it written down without seeing the child, you wouldn't know if it was a boy or girl.

If nominative determinism is a thing, Lugh is a huge name to live up to ;).

Conor, Feidlim, Seamus, Finnian or one of its derivatives.

Lugh is a perfectly fine name, not so keen on Lugha.

Some other names connected to mythology: Cian (father of Lugh), Naoise, Diarmuid, Fionn, Oisín, Brian, Fergus, Conall, Cormac, Oscar.

    Good luck!

Chulainn as in Cú Chulainn, have heard of a few last few years and think it’s nice. Sorry don’t like Lugh or Lugha, just made me think of lurgi when I seen it.

    Is it pronounced Lou?

I do like Lugh; and it's not too weird or unpronounceable. (not Lugha, that might be the Tuisil Ginideach?)

Sort of a Sun God, wasn't he?

There's also Luan - unusual, but still not very strange.
    And classic Lorcan.

Do people realise its pronounced lou, so not that unusual, louis is a normal name, it will sound like an abbreviation of that. I think both are lovely names. I also think parents should never ask opinions on names for their children if they really like the name because you will end up disappointed because there are always people who have negative things to say

We called our little boy Lugh back in Sept (he was supposed to be an august baby so coming from Lunasa but didn’t play ball 👀) we got quite a bit of hesitation from family but I knew it was because it wasn’t a known name-we decided to stick to our guns and I’m so glad we did, I think it’s such a cool name 💙
