Form 11 and Remote Working Relief?

    Evening,

A few years ago I registered a personal business name so I could take on some coding projects on the side while also working as a permanent employee under PAYE. I registered for ROS and I have been submitting my form 11 every year.

Now in 2020, I worked from home all year, while making €0 in self-employed income. However, I would like to avail of the Remote Working Relief as my employer is not paying anything towards this. The problem is, I cannot file my 2020 Income Tax return via MyAccount, I have to do it via ROS (Form 11), but I can't for the life of me find a way to claim this relief in ROS.

Do I have to enter this under the Expenses section in the "Self Employed Income" page? That seems weird as this isn't really a self-employed relief.

    Any ideas are appreciated!

Did you ever find out the answer to this? Can't see it referenced anywhere on Form 11

There is a field for eWorking in the PAYE section of the F11 it’s on the second page where expenses in employment are. Bear in mind that public and annual holiday days must be deducted from total days.

For information, there have been a large number of revenue checks on F11 eWorking submissions so much so that a complaint was lodged by CCAB-I with Revenue as the number of queries relative to the value of the relief seemed disproportionate. Revenue have since indicated that they will only do such checks as are necessary to ensure the integrity of the self-assessment system.

The online form 11 is broken for this section if you have a spouse! The "self" amount is correct when you click the "calculate" button, but the amount for spouse is too big (it seems to be adding self and spouse together).
