Failed NCT on emissions

    Well lads,

Failed my NCT test last week on emissions, drive a 08 Opel Corsa (First car)

Failed on Low Idle - CO 4.10% vol - Major

    Passed on High Idle
    Lambda 1.00
    3,130 rpm - CO 0.11% vol
    HC 126 ppm

Haven't a clue what to do, seen a few things about fuel cleaners etc but is that just too high on low idle to pass even with fuel cleaners?

    Cheers

Throttle body might need cleaning, CAT should be OK as it’s managing the high idle pretty well.

A fuel cleaner won’t do any harm. If the car doesn’t get much driving a good seeing to on the motorway wouldn’t go astray either.
