    at this point should look for the latest 11th gen intels (i5 and above, first two digits 11, linked one is 10th gen) in that sort of laptop if you're looking for an intel cpu as there was a significant graphics update in that generation.

    Laptops seem to be a bit thin on the ground rn with covid and Brexit so I don't have high hopes for 11th gen dropping in soon and I'm sure there will be a hefty intel tax on em if they do. At the limit of my budget so if I see nothing cheaper I might just chance it. Not looking for intel, just quad core

    Just be careful if you're buying online, I understand that Currys ship all products sold on the Irish website from the U.K. - which has been causing problems for some.

    Saw that. They issued some apology on it and refunded customers the customs so should be all good on that front.
