Incognito on Boards?

    Hi,

Seems as good a place as any to pose this question/query.

I follow a few threads, and one of them is in Horse & Greyhound Racing Betting.

When I click on the main forum and scroll to the bottom it shows how many "active users" (including 'guests') are on said forum. *Currently there are 5 on the abovementioned one (including me, as I opened up another page to post this), with those comprising 4 members and one guest.

However; only three of the four 'members' (again, myself included are named).

Can a member be "logged in" and go 'incognito' , as it were; or does Boards recognize when a member is following a forum but not logged in, or is it something else?

If so, and if possible, is it possible for a member to be 'logged in' , but their presence not visible to other users?

Also, how does one go about their presence on site being inconspicuous to other users; for whatever reason, eg they just want to make a single post that needs no responding to, and would like to compose/submit that post unnoticed to other members?

    * This was the case/state of play when I started this post, so in the few minutes it's taken me to type it out some I presume would be no longer "active".

If you can answer I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Leffesem

PS, I was required to select a "Thread Prefix" - whatever that means, so I hope 'In Progress' is an acceptable one; as I don't know what to make - or indeed why they are there - of any of the options...

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
