This might not work for everyone but with Brexit I'm looking at Amazon Germany more often than UK. I just went into my account and was offered a €8 free with €80 top up.

Cost of shipping on everything from Amazon.de to Ireland is around €8 to €10, I'm just using for stuff that amzn.co.uk won't send to Ireland now because with the import fees deposit amazon is much the same as before only alot of things won't ship, prior to this we could circumvent the shipping restrictions using Parcel Motel, AddressPal or DPD Parcel Wizard all of which are now defunct unless they setup a French or German forwarding service.

I've used mailbox.de before, it's not cheap but works well.

When buying Electronic devices from amazon.de are they sending the correct plug types for Ireland?

No. Electronic equipment usually comes with a 2-pin Euro plug.
