I'm looking for lights for my car transporter. it has bulbs on the rear that all work fine. but I'd like to get leds instead, and add some running lights along the sides as well.
any recommendations on places to get these online?

Most decent motor factors would be able to supply LED lights and/or packages. You could go to the likes of truckelectrics.com based in Belturbet or Euromotive Components in Carrick On Shannon. The latter also trade under Recovery and Winch and Auto Electric World. If you google, you’ll come up with their sites. All should be able to supply what you need from their online shops.

Just bear in mind with some modern towing vehicles, it may cause indicator to flash quickly as if a bulb is blown when you’re using LeD’s and the towing module recognises there’s a trailer attached. Something to be aware of but may not affect you. Usually put right by adding a load resistor into the turn signal circuits to simulate load that a filament bulb normally takes.
