Sent my head torch off for a new switch cover on Tuesday, returned today with a much improved switch and a new strap, delivered to my door FOC.

Great service from a great Irish company.

Didn’t realize they did that... I’ve a broken one here. Big fan of them though... Santa brought me a new one. Would be lost without it these nights

Their a great company. I run all cheetah fencers here. I bought their red gap handles too, a bit more expensive than your standard blue ones but no comparison.

Terribly decent company. Bought one of their fevers and they fixed an old one I had that was a different brand

I bought a new Cheetah mains fencer in 1985. It got fried by lightening sometime in the mid 90's. I phoned them up and they told me to post it too them. They repaired it, posted it back and to this day it still works as good as the first day I bought it.
Edit to add - it seldom gets turned off other than if I need to do a major fencing job.

The kids broke the strap holder thingy on mine. I must get it fixed. How did you contact them?

A pic that I took a couple of years ago of the fencer that I bought in '85.

    What's the difference?

The handles are more expensive than the standard blue handles. They have a nice finish, made from tougher plastic and the spring inside is stronger and lasts longer

Hard get a good tighten on the wire with them I find
The cheap Gallagher ones is what I use, lots of spring in it to tighten

It's nearly trial and error to find the right handle.

Great company but they are a bit off the mark with there online presence, you should be able to buy there stuff off them direct from the Website.
They are really missing a trick and can't understand why they do not do this
