Hi just got back on the PUP but have to ask this question: from March till July I got 350 a week, then we got back to work in August until the last week of October so got back on it again. I just realised it's gone down to 300 a week when I got back on. Anybody got this problem? Asked my workmates and they've still stayed on 350, which is confusing as we all applied and got off and back again at the same time?? Anybody know who/where to contact to get this sorted? Thanks for the help.

Hi, unfortunately since your first time on PUP when most people were on €350, 4 new rates were introduced in or around September. SW & revenue now assess your gross pay to determine what rate you get. The simplest way to explain is, if you were earning gross more than €400 pw, you get €350, if it was less than €400, you get €350, the other two rates are €250 & €203.

The gross pay was originally taken from 2019 earnings but that too seems to have changed to more recent earnings.

If you feel your not getting correct rate, search the SW site, there's an email address you can appeal payment rate.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
