Fingal housing offer

Has anyone been offered a house with Fingal recently? Got our offer yesterday and accepted. It was highlighted that the house was not yet ready for occupancy and they'd be in touch when it was.

We were called today with a date for 'sign up' . I assume this is signing the lease etc. Will we get our keys that day? Should I ask (am I allowed ask) what state the property is in? (We drove to it yesterday and its obviously boarded up so can't see inside).

Just clueless as to what the steps are now that we have been offered.

As far as I know they bring it up to a decent standard before tenants move in.

If it's still boarded up I'd say works still need doing or may not even have started yet.

    Of course you can ask.

Its probably not classed as essential so will not be worked on until current restrictions are lifted
