Squeaky floors

Moved into a new build, installed floating engineered floor but it’s very squeaky. Didn’t realize that it should’ve been glued, probably

Is there a way of lifting the floor and glue it down? The planks are together with a click system. Or will I need to get new flooring?

You certain it's not the subfloor that's actually squeaking?

For sure the wooden floor. Anyway, I realized yesterday that humidity levels were high. After switching on hrmv, today humidity level is 7-8% lower and noise is much more bearable

    Does the whole floor squeak?
If not it might settle in a few weeks.
In the meantime try sprinkling some talcom powder over the squeaky boards
and work it into the joints with a brush or even your hands

No, now that the humidity is lower only a few spots.

If you are careful you should be able to unclick them and do it all again. A pain in the ass but you can do it.

There is nothing else you can do, its either that, or live with the noise.
