Are the 3rd party warranty companies (Carprotect to be specific ) of any use which cost €300-€400 for a sub 10k euro car ? Looking at buying a '11 reg car with which the dealer is providing a Carprotect warranty included in the price of the car. Are the 3rd party warranty companies (Carprotect to be specific ) of any use which cost €300-€400 for a sub 10k euro car ?
Looking at buying a '11 reg car with which the dealer is providing a Carprotect warranty included in the price of the car.

Looking at the things covered under warranty, it looks it is worth the money, but reading back a few posts here on boards, many parts are skipped under the fine print of the warranty details.
Wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with them lately for a major repair eg. engine damage due to a stretched timing chain or turbo failure or some other major repairs.
