Durable domestic flood/security light

Hi Folks, could I please get a recommendation on a durable security light, so far any I have they fail and the bracket rusts. Clearly not build.to last. Thanks

I had a light I bought in Lidl which was rated IP44 but it was on a very exposed wall and water eventually got into the PIR sensor.

So I upgraded to an IP65 Ansell 10W model with PIR. You can see the full range here, available with and without PIR ....

There is an element of a race to the bottom when it comes to the quality of external light fittings, and very few are built to last.

The likes of Philips Coreline Tempo are a good fitting, but well over €100 each. You would need a separate sensor.

Never buy anything rated IP44 to use outdoor.

Might be grand in Spain, but not good enough for Ireland.
