Lean to roof off block wall garage

I will be building a lean to roof off the gable end of the block garage wall. I plan to use 6x3 for the ledger, 6x3 for the rafters spaced 2ft apart with the rafter fixed to the face of both the ledger and beam by joist hangers, 6x3 for the beam and a 7x7 (already bought) for the posts.

Are these sizes overkill and could they be reduced? The roof will be 18ft long by 14ft wide (slope direction).

    Rafters should be 9x2 @ 400c not 6x3 @600c for that span.

It will be a lean to roof coming off the gable wall of existing garage. No overhang. I plan to bolt a ledger to the existing garage wall. The other 3 sides will be open (to dry clothes). The rafter coming from the ledger will be resting on a beam that will be sitting on a 7x7in post.
