Hi. Im thinking of applying for finance to buy a van. Is it difficult to get finance, and what sort of options are available? What do banks/finance company go on, is it turnover or net profit?
    Any insights would be appreciated!

Are you self employed or paye worker? What do you need the van for?

Most places selling vans would have finance options. Your employment status would determine if you could get a loan or not

banks simply go on the ability to repay.

Many garages offer finance too (incl used vans) - so that's another option.

if you are self employed then finance company will use your personal credit history. So either way you can get van on finance under your personal name.

But I would more concern getting insurance as delivery courier.
There is very few insurers who would give you cover for that type of work.
