I was laid off work once more because the sites have been closed down due to covid. Tried to apply on mywelfare and mygov.ie to get back on the PUP payment. Problem is, I need a public services card to verify my mygov.ie account which I was never sent out. To get on the payment last march, I simply posted a form in. Can you do that again this time around, or does it have to be done online through your mygov.ie account?

You can apply with just a basic mygovid. All you need to get one is an email address.

Just saw this, you don't need public service card, just a basic mywelfare account to apply for PUP, this has always been the case, you mentioned you were on PUP previously, coukd you not follow the same process as before?

The mywelfare portal only requires a valid email address and mobile number
