How do I create posts with pictures would love to know

Hi

Get the url (right click on the image and 'copy image address') and use image tags

For example,




is...

https://geographical.co.uk/media/k2/items/cache/e533c4b8d2d2d3798f3271c35ca6e050_XL.jpg

(* is just to make the url show there)

Just wrap [img][/img] around the jpg/png link as above

You can add your own images by uploading through attachments which is an option when creating a post.

However, i'm not sure if you need a certain number of posts first or not.

What about uploading an image on pc as i can never do that as just usually upload a jpg file Cheers still learning.

Hi greasepalm,

If you would like to upload an image that you have stored locally when using the desktop site:

• Click on the blue Post Reply button or Go Advanced button beneath the Quick Reply text input
• Scroll down to Additional Options
• Click the Manage Attachments button (under the header, "Attach Files")
• In the popup, click choose file and select the image you wish to upload
• On the right hand side of that popup (you may need to scroll or enlarge the window), click upload
• Once uploaded, right click on the attached file and copy its link
• Then you can use the image tags/insert image icon and paste this link in

You linked to the attachment, but didn't put the link in image tags to make it display the image.

As Spear said, you can either wrap the link in image tags manually

[noparse][IMAGE]link here[/IMAGE][/noparse]

OR

Click the icon () in the toolbar, which will produce a popup that you can use to enter your link
