Cost to supply and fit fencing 75m

Hi I'm considering taking out a bounds ditch between my house and the neighbouring farm. I've already got his consent. I was just wondering how much it would cost to get fencing put in..
It's an L shape 67 metres and 8 meters..
I'd be looking to get sheep wire with a double strand of barbed wire on top and good treated stakes..
What would the Cost of supply and fit be roughly

Removing a ditch sounds strange as typically length needs to be replaced elsewhere.

Roughly speaking
Roll of sheep wire 100m €150
3 strainers €75-90
Approx 25 x 4 inch 6ft stakes @7 €175
Roll of barbed wire €50
Doesn’t be long adding up. Labour on top of that.

For ah grant fencing the rate would be circa €6 per meter ex vat.

I will be replanting it with beach and alder..

Plus cost of digging out and removing ditch.

In a time when removing ditches is being frowned upon.

Maybe consider tidying up the ditch and planting on with more species.

Thanks I wont be able to avail of Grant's as I'm not a farmer.. however its worth doing..its hard to maintain this ditch in my garden and when the hedge cutter gets at it there's bits everywhere afterwards.. at least a fence and the beach hedge i will put in I can maintain myself

Frowned upon by who..ditches been removed on a daily basis in the countryside and not illegal to do so at this time of year. the ditch is in a heap.. I've spent ten years trying to get it into shape but its impossible.. it's a dirty white thorn ditch thats full of briars and ivy.. it's a health hazard at this stage with my young kids.. standing on thorns.. bursting footballs tyres swimming pools and anything that comes near it gets a dart of a thorn.. trying to cut it and maintain its is impossible..

Plus any hedge removed will need to be replaced in another location.

You could put a fence up inside it to keep footballs and kids safe and just trimm e hedge to keep it controlled.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think permission from the council is needed to remove a hedge.

This seems a good idea to me. Especially if you can get a tractor and hedgecutter into site in appropriate weather. Leave it so hedger can get at space between fence and ditch.
Removing ditch would be a big job. I would go for concrete posts but not set in concrete. Timber posts will rot and you will need access for a tractor to replace
You might not like to use creosote because of children.
On second thoughts you are probably having to fence out sheep?
