Changing Outlander battery

Will I loose radio (etc.) when changing the battery? I have one of those cigarette to cigarette lighter cables if that would help. Or I could just use jump leads on the battery connectors while changing.

Perhaps none of the above is necessary and everything will retain it's settings.

    What's the correct procedure please?

Is it an old diesel or a new PHEV?

I did a quick search and it doesn't appear battery change resets the radio.

You can get manuals from Mitsu here https://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.uk/owners/manuals

    Thanks. It's 2016
I have the manual, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Seems that I just loose radio stations, but just double checking.

Got it done without using any other connection. Just lost radio stations.
