Installing appliances to a new fitted kitchen

    Hi
I am due to get a new kitchen installed in early February...although I am aware that is probably pushed out now.

My appliances for the new integrated kitchen have been ordered...but they are severely delayed with brexit, covid etc ....so not sure if they will arrive before/ after my kitchen at this stage!

Question...if my kitchen is in...any idea how easy it is to ‘slot” them into their spots ourselves? Kitchen people have the dimensions....and we will have the electrics done...

    Thanks
    Maura

I'd get the kitchen fitters back out to install the integrated appliances.

I was in a kind of similar position one time with a dishwasher and, assuming the job of fitting the door on the unit was going to be the least of my problems, I told the kitchen guy that I'd fit it myself when the new dishwasher arrived, to which he told me that if I hadn't done it previously, I would probably end up rather eating the door, as it can be tricky!
He came back at no charge and had it done in no time, although I'd assume a charge in your case if you have multiple appliances.

    Thank you JMR

Sorry....Integrated is probably not the right word I should have used. We have an American fridge ordered....so that just needs to slot into a space...there will be presses around and above it, but there won’t be doors added.
Same with double ocean/ microwave...we will have to slot that into a space as well...again presses all around it.

So...won’t be adding doors....but just need to make sure we could get the appliances into the slots on our own...if that makes sense!

Ya you'll have no problem there they are pretty much standard sizes.

Only issue might be with uneven floor and adjusting feet to make sure its not tilting.Once they have the sizes its just a push job hopefully.

    Double ocean microwave sounds cool.
