if you have windows 10 you can pair your android phone and drag pictures to it.

the application on windows is called Your Phone. It may not be there because it's a work computer though

Unless its a work phone you shouldn't.

I'd use the card slot on your phone microSDXC and USB adapter. Its the fastest.
    Use a cable.
    Use dropbox.

Microsoft One Drive. It's not direct but it's much better than email.

On android, if you make sure the photos folder are synced to your google cloud, then you can access them on your laptop.
Otherwise, connect a USB cable and use windows explorer to drag the files across.

Here are some videos on methods people have already alluded to.

    Transferring photos using USB cable

    Using Google Photos

    Google Photos? (previously Picasa)

Install Google Photos app on your phone.
Then, from any Web browser, go to photos.google.com

Upload at Google drive and extract from PC. It is simple. Dropbox could also be used.
