Amazon UK seems to be saying the online Kindle, for computers, is no longer available, to Ireland. Presumably never again will be? :(

Couple of computers later, I've lost my library and can't get Kindle on board to read that, or get anything new.

Am I missing something here, please?

    Thanks.

If your books are still on your Kindle, copy them to your PC?

Then use Calibre to manage & read.

    Should work :)

Thanks, Philipx. But, sadly, as I say; My whole Kindle, books 'n all, vanished a while back with a computer.

I then went to Linux, and couldn't fathom how to do Anything. Now, I'm back on yet another machine and Amazon says we can't have nice things here any more :(

Strange, as I'm pretty sure I was sitting in this very room when I first got Kindle ....???
