For Sale: Seven Axiom Titanium Frame and Seven Fork including Chris King headset.
Frame has 59cm top tube so it is for 6ft plus riders. I am 6'2".
Really nice welds, high end American titanium frame similar to moots, indy fab, mosaic etc. It is really comfortable but responsive too. I am the 3rd owner of the frame and it is still immaculate, no dents, a quick polish with pledge and it comes up as good as new.
It is still built up so only pics I have are of it built up but only frameset for sale.
Reason for selling is that I spend most of my time riding off road so I want to get a titanium cx/gravel frameset.
    Price €1300.
    Located near Gorey, Co Wexford

    A few questions:
what length is the head tube?
    What diameter is the seatpost?
What diameter is the seat tube?
    How old is the frame?
Would the frame take 28mm tyres?

What diameter is the seat tube? No idea, if you mean headtube, it is 1 1/8. I would have to get my calipers out of the shed tomorrow if you want the actual seat tube diameter?
How old is the frame? About 15 yrs
Would the frame take 28mm tyres?yes, i have had 28s on it with no problems, even with wide pacenti rims. It has 26mm tyres in the pics. BSA bb
Any other questions fire away, I should have those details in the ad.

Actually I just had a look at the pics again and the tyre on the rear wheel is a 28 on mavic wheels and you can see there is a nice bit of room to seat tube.

    :( I'm 6'1"

I've been checking down behind the couch for lost change. Just need to find another €1296...

I hear you Cletus, in an ideal world I would be able to keep this and buy a cx frame, but this has to go to free up cash to buy a cx frame. I am ashamed to say in about 5 years of ownership I havent put anymore than 2000km on it.

    O.P.
    Another measurement:
Can you measure the distance from the centre of the front axle to the top of the spacer, that's on top of the stem, please.
I wanted the seat tube diameter, because I want to know whether my front derailleur will fit.

Centre of front axle to top of spacer is 645mm, that's me just measuring with a tape so give or take a few mm. The front mech clamp is 34.9mm. Thanks

I think the frame is probably a cm. or so too big for me.
At the money, I am not prepared to take a chance.
    Sorry for inconvenience.
    Good luck with sale.

No sorry Alan, they are king cages but the cheaper stainless steel ones, not the ti ones. I bought stainless steel Blackburn ones off ribble a few years ago for my mtb and they are very nice and not that expensive.

Sorry to be a pain in the arse about this, but I was looking at my two bikes and noticed that they both have lay back seat posts and I note that yours has a straight seatpost.
So will you do me a favour, if you can:
Adjust the seatpost, so that from centre of crank to the top of saddle is 81cms, then drop a plumb line, when bike is on a level surface, from tip of saddle and measure the horizontal distance from plumb to centre of crank. I need that measurement to be 10cms.
And can you then measure distance from the tip of saddle to the bolt on top of stem, I need this to be 50cms
    Thank you.

    Hi Eamonnator,
1st measurement is approx 9.5cm and 2nd measurement is 48cm. My saddle position is as far forward as it can be, the saddle has the space on the rails to go back at least 1.5cm. I will post a pic of saddle rail.

half tempted to put a mod note on this for the laugh.
you buy a derailleur to fit the frame, not the converse!

If still for sale, I'll up my offer to 1,152 euro.
I'm starting to doubt my sanity.

Hi Eamonnator, thanks for your offer. €1200 in my hand will buy the frame, if shipping or PayPal is required the buyer covers the cost of these. Anything less than 1200 and I will keep it.

And then mostly like offer it for sale again, at which point €1,152 will seem quite sensible and you'll do a deal.

    Life is too short :)

I have always been clear that I wanted asking or very close to it but I have now offered it for 100e less than my asking. Thanks for your contribution🙂

    Sorry for delay in replying.
My last offer was my final offer.
    I'm done.
