Defacto Visa for Ireland

My partner is Indian, I am Irish.
We have had our defacto visa denied and are appealing it.

We are both seafarers and they are disputing the validity of our cohabitation and police clearance.

However, we can not prove this.

    Any advice?

Do you have friends who can vouch that you are in fact a couple? They can make a signed declaration to that effect, will that be enough proof?

With visa applications the onus is on you to prove your eligibility, and this is something that should be borne in mind from the start.

When you say seafarers, do you have a fixed residential address? Shared utilities? Anything you can get retrospectively?

Police clearance is a serious one and one you may need to with through the Indian Embassy to confirm.
