    Anybody ever use this company?
    https://vrtappealsireland.ie/
Not heard anything back from them in a month.

I have VRT'd a lot of cars over the years but never appealed any one of them.
Its purely down to the OMSP as the foundation of the appeal I assume?

    TIA

Yes. The OMSP is the the only arguably subjective factor in the calculation.

I believe there is a short enough window to actually appeal a VRT figure.

So I'm guessing compiling advertisements of same cars that are less than the revenue determined OMSP?

Yes 2 months from the date its paid.

    Ouch.

Appeals process isn't overly difficult to do yourself once you have the paperwork together, yes it can take time to get a decision from Revenue, but giving someone 20%+ of the rebate to do it on your behalf won't speed up that process

    4. Our Fee

I understand that VRT Appeals Ireland's fee for completing a successful VRT appeal is from 20% of the rebate price. Therefore I am agreeing to pay VRT Appeals Ireland any fee they get back on the appeal.

    Tiered Fee's

Tier One - 20% of winning rebate of amount up to €400

Tier Two - 25% of winning rebate of amount from €400 - €600

Tier Three - 30% of winning rebate of amount €600 upwards

Yeah I'm glad they are not responding now as don't fancy giving them that. Seems like a bit of a scam anyway not a word from them and no €20 refund. Ah well.
