No however you can see if it was awarded or not .
It's very confusing 70% of people working with me didn't get payment however 30% did.

Very unfair. I rang them and I'm due to get it on 12th. So I'm again for 3rd time week behind.

That's 1050 e I'm down now... Probably never get it back...

What's the issue verifying account? If you've not verified, you've essentially not completed application for PUP. I saw another post elsewhere re someone unable to recieve verification SMS, is this the issue your having? If it is, it's a system glitch and you need to call them.

I would not worry about loosing anything, the date you finished work and submitted application is what's important but you need to contact them ASAP.

Did you complete application, is it a second or first time claim? Is your mywelfare account set up fully?

The €350 figure unfortunately causes confusion. This amount is not paid to everyone. The rate paid is determined on applicants gross pay. PUP rates were reviewed months ago and 4 rates now paid. €350, €300, €250 & €203. The €350 is only paid to those who earned €400 or more gross per week. Not sure if this answers your query. If your daughter was underpaid there's an email or phone number listed to request review.

How long is it to process a claim

A claim should take no longer than a few days, admitidly with enormous numbers applying, this may cause delays. Its important to insure all and any info required is submitted and Mywelfare account verified.

People previously on TWSS/EWSS have seen delays, this was employers fault, they need to insure revenue are informed.

No one recieves notification on claim approval but do get notifications if there's an issue or more information required. Previous post suggesting application submitted last October and only paid now is quite extraordinary and unusual.

Hey, sorry for late reply. Anyway.
I applied via my welfare basic account but have been on and off covid payment alot since covid reached here.
First time was the same, was told I was late applicant even tho applied on Monday week and one day prior I was ment to recieve payment. Last time they couldn't see my application - lost out on a week yet again.
Today I rang - was told basically suck it up, I just don't understand how some people applying same time got it and some didn't.
I just seem to have a bad luck with this..

Anyway I hope everyone gets sorted.

I would certainly appealing this, payment is from date of application and this should be easily proven. I don't have the email address to hand but email them, clearly outlying what's happened, dates applied etc. An email has to be dealt with

Yes, of course, It's my 3rd time being laid off so I know the process fully at this stage.

My account also says it being awarded.

Then you'll know awarded means very little, mywelfare is painfully slow to update status. If you Have not recieved payment I'd advice calling them then. I meant no offence, just trying to identify any possible issues good luck

OK I've submitted an application and received an notification but there's No active claims "You don't currently have any active claims. Any active claims or applications you have will appear here." is this normal?

It is, mywelfare takes quite some time to update claim status so don't be worried about that

No last paycheck was over 400. I do know what the different levels are thanks..

No problem but keep in mind it's based on average payments, originally pup based on income in 2019, but they do verify gross income with Revenue, I don't think they go back that far now but she can query if not correct amount.

That may have been small amount of arrears that were paid out around then, it is likely her payment will be €203 as its based on average earnings.

My relation got a new job before Christmas, it is a full time job but the contract is an 8 hour minimum, but she has been averaging 25-35 hours for the company per week.

Company now closed during lockdown and got she got email to say they will be paid their contracted hours (8 hours per week). can they apply for PUP to cover the rest? or have they any say on this?

No unfortunately as it requires full lay off or loss of jobs, there's also other criteria.

Your relation, however should check of she can claim for reduced hours, they can claim upto 3 days at approx €40 per day. The only problem will be that their employer would have to sign form for days not worked and I'm unclear if they'll do that. It's of no cost to employer but forms have to be signed for each day not worked.

EDIT, employer completely wrong, you can not claim PUP and recieve any income whatsoever, there are seperate incomes permitted for self employed on PUP but limited.

Thanks, she is in retail and they are only offering 3 month contracts (this one ends start of March) so a bit of a catch 22, she will be only back and contract probably wont be renewed. I'd say she cant claim for reduced hours either as she is working more than the contracted ones.

Just amazed at employers stating employee's can claim PUP to top up wages.

I understand your relations dilemma, at a basic level she should be entitled to reduced hours payment albeit being means tested, certainly worth a call to her local intero centre. Hope she gets sorted.
