Staycation Properties

We stayed in Ireland in 2020 (in lovely Ardmore) and the way things are looking, I'm not convinced that all will be ok this summer.
When I booked the property last year I found that most properties in Ireland were listed on UK sites. Now with Brexit (I guess) these sites don't seem to list many (if any) Irish properties.
So any suggestions for where to look for Irish holiday rental properties?

You’ve missed the bit where the country is in a rolling lockdown, nobody is allowed travel more than 5k from their residence, the country is festooned with police checkpoints and the tourist accommodation industry is shut apart from overnights in selected hotels for essential business purposes with no unnecessary(ie tourist) travel from overseas and a worsening covid crisis with more lockdown restrictions to follow?

Erm no I didn't. I'm reckoning that during the summer many people will have been vaccinated but not everyone which could pose difficulties in terms of foreign travel.
I'm working from the belief that summer 2021 will be somewhat similar to 2020.

There seems to be a certain cadre of people just hanging around to put this lame response to just about any query. Did you even bother reading the OP before you stuck in the answer to a question no one asked?

OP - my guess is a lot of the english based property agencies are still figuring out about how Brexit is going to work for places outside UK so may have delisted everything for the moment. I'd say give it a week or two and see if situation changes.

Down off your soapbox and high horse, op clearly said during the summer. That's currently 4-6 months away and a fair assumption we will be in a situation where inter County travel will be permissable.

Op have you thought about air bnb and booking.com when restrictions are lifted?. Most likely won't be much up at the minute.

I dare say these pillars of society have it copied ready to paste at the first sign of a similar post, so that they can feel morally superior to us plebeian mere mortals.
This type of post is up there with the "nothing is changing importing cars from the UK ones".

Fair point most are at the stage of trying to decide whether or not the deal works for them and if they'll stay in the Irish market. I'd agree with giving it time to see how it plays out

I havent looked at Air BnB as I like to know where exactly a property is before I commit.
I have often used booking.com for hotels but it is a bit of a PITA to navigate through.
I'll hold out for a few weeks and see if, as Deagol reckons, that it may just be temporary.

Soapbox yourself much? All the points I made
are 100% valid - not to mention all the obvious others in relation to vaccinations and roll out difficulties. As someone who is sitting on a useless e800 voucher for a company that could not deliver the goods
last year due to lockdown and travel restrictions and that may not exist next year due to industry collapse I’d hardly recommend for many reasons anyone to book or plan to travel or to be allowed at this stage.

There are some cracking properties on air bnb, but you'd have to have a rough idea of the area you want to go which can be a pain if you're not set on a destination.

AirBnb and Booking.com are plenty good enough in my opinion.

Few minutes searching on google maps and street view will usually locate a property.
