Attic flooring

    Hi! Hopefully I’m on the right section. Looking to get my attic floored for storage or not too heavy items. I attach a video of it. As now most business are closed, I ask you guys if you think this can be done and how it could be done.

    Insert raised timber platforms and floor/sheet that.

    Don’t squash down the insulation rock wool. It works on having the volume so if you compress it, you are reducing its effectiveness.

    Yes. You may be left with smaller storage space than anticipated but it can be done.

    Also, what’s the black pipe sticking up there?
    Is that a vent pipe from the foul system?
    Should it be connected to a vent tile on the roof?

    No idea what it is. I’ll contact the foreman for them to have a look. According to its location looks to be above the stairs coming to the second floor
