10ftx10ft shed roof

    Hi ,

    My shed roof has the steel coragated material on it . Its sweating alot causing alot of water in the shed. What is the most cost affective option to solve this?.

    Most effective would be to have the roof spray foamed. This will break the thermal connection between the outside air and the inside air.

    That humid air though can condense on the next cold spot. You best check ventilation in the shed. There should be some to move humid air out of the shed.

    Thanks for the advice , is this something that can be done myself or do you have to get somebody in to do it ,

    Regarding ventilation , I have a window etc I could leave a jar to let air circulate . I want to do this on a budget and it just has to be waterproof so I can get some electricity into it. Its also a stone built shed if that makes any difference.

    Spraying would be professionally done. To do something yourself you'd have to look at boarding the ceiling and insulationing but alot of effort and spray foam is more effective for this application.
