Hi all. Can anyone give some quick advice. Ive just paid off all my loans and i want to do a bit of savings for different things. Ive a few options but one is I was thinking of putting a little bit in an irish life investment fund every month. Ive no experience with this. But i only want to throw about 150 a month for 5 years in a medium risk Multi Asset Portfolio.

It has to be better than a savings account with 0.x and DIRT right?

    Probably.

Get a professional do a risk/reward analysis to determine which type of fund might work best for you.

ILAC might not be the best provider either.

It depends on how much you are willing to loose in attempting to get that return....

Higher returns always comes with higher risks. How important is it to you to preserve the capital sum?
