BMW coolant type

    Other than genuine BMW coolant from a dealer is there another other ones that can be used ? Only looking for a liter bottle.

    Litre bottle even from BMW isn't expensive.
    What is in there now? Remember coolants should not be mixed unless you know what you're doing.

    Haven't a clue tbh. Given its service history I'll assume BMW spec. I just want to top it up slightly. Might even get sone de-ironized water and put a drop in and get the hole lot changed on its next service.

    That's probably best course of action for now. Just ask for the water in any motor factors.
    Then pray we don't get a super cold spell :)

    Just get any red coolent or orange. That’s what should be in it. Doesn’t need to be from bmw.
