Wonder if anyone can recognise this slurry pump?
Its off an old Ruscon tank.

Need to get a vane and some seals for it.

    Cheers

Closest I could get online was this below: https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/slurry-pump-make.61562/
Seems like it may be a Jurop, but with the unique top cover, can't find anything like it.

Could be a hertell pump I think. If you measure the length of the vanes you should be able to find something.

There is a guy in Wexford who advertises on DD.

    He refurbishes Battioni and Hertell.

He should be able to identify it and likely have the vanes

Could be a Mec/Hertell/Battoni. Is it a 6000? What is the number where you have the dirt rubbed off?

It looks a bit shorter than an 8000. Can you open the back and take out an old vane, take it to a dealer and buy 6, usually they have 6 vanes anyway.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

I have to correct myself. I looked at the pump on the Tanco tank here and Hertell is engraved into the side of the pump so it mightn't be that.

    Thanks for replies.

Seems a real odd ball pump. Vanes are around 270mm long x 50mm wide x 6-7mm thick. There are 4 vanes.
(how do I know how wide/deep the vanes should be? The old ones are 50mm wide, but could be worn. The slots in the rotor are 80-90mm deep.)

    Only numbers and markings is:
    E11
    30113001020
    GH

    210389

Uncle Google returns zero for any of these.
I don't think any local dealers would recognize the pump and could be doing a lot of driving.
Will try calling some of the lads on DD reconditioning these and see if they'll let me send a photo. Prob just want to sell me a replacement. (Rear housing cover has a few cracks around the bolt holes, so just want to put in a new vane and see if it'll keep working).

They should be around the same height as the depth of the groove in the rotor.. looking at it again it might not be a hertell either, unusual one and I've refurbished a good few pumps. Vanes can be bought individually So you mightnt need a kit.
If there the right height and thickness, you can cut them to length, not ideal but if you were stuck.
Can make gaskets, from a sheet of gasket paper too..seals are easy got anywhere.

Theres a guy down in Tipp that reconditions all kinds of pumps and slurry gear, advertises on DoneDeal. Elliott Benn, he might be a source of vanes etc.

    Wow. Really!?

These vanes must be worn an awful lot so. Will need 4 of them. The height of these worn vanes are only half to 2/3 depth of the groove in the rotor, and worn more towards one end.

Ya, will probably see if can get them from the local machinery place Monday, and if they don't have them get onto the lads that recon them.

    Thanks for replies.
