Roofer for flat roof porch covering

Hi, we have a flat roof porch covering design on our house. We were just wondering does the roofer who does the roof normally do these if it's just for a porch on the front door or do you need to get a specialist to do it.

Would it be an option to just not bother building the porch either? I'm just not overly gone on it to be honest. I know it's the front of the house and can be seen from the road but is it still considered too big of a change to just omit it.

    Thanks

Re omission seek advice from arch/Eng who submitted the planning. Often a porch is there to break-up /reduce the scale/massing of an elevation, it would very short sighted to remove it, without taking on board the designers opinions.

Re flat roof, depending on size, there may be simple EPDM roll out option, but my Spec preference is 2 ply bitumen. Your roofer will know a guy, ensure you get a joint warranty (manufacturer and installer) whatever way you go.
