BMW F10 Hexagon trim scratched

    Hello all.

I had to move a large electronic appliance with the 5 series a few days ago and unfortunately the only place it would fit was the front seat.

Even though I was as careful as possible it's scratched the hexagon aluminium trim on the centre console.

Is there any easy way to repair this, or is it a replacement only job? Are there even wraps available that look ok?

It's scratched along the edge under the idrive.

    Is it this piece:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-BMW-F10-M5-Aluminium-Trace-Interior-Trim-Center-Dash-Piece/254345558989?epid=8037438894&hash=item3b382d3bcd:g:koIAAOSwOSVdaWDf

Says it's for a M5 so should still fit but make sure it's the same pattern as what you have. That one looks to have a few marks on it too though probably from taking it off.

There are a good few F10 trim pieces for sale on ebay but most are for the entire interior rather than individual parts. I'd say sellers would be reluctant to sell them individually though. You could also try a breakers yard, you might get lucky.

Thanks lads. It's not on the dash it's the centre near the gear stick, beside the I drive. Maybe I should keep an eye on eBay so and price it in the dealers next time I'm in.

Yes I know but they all just climpnin they’re all part of the type of trim that’s in the car. Go into bmw tell them it’s the silver or the carbon and wat Panay am they will get ya one there part of the package that comes with the car. I work on BMWs so I know what ur on about takes two seconds to change
