Opening ports via non bridged HG659 to Orbi

    Hi oh wise ones!

I have tried all online advice to bridge both a HG658c and a HG659 at my parents house. I'm both cases no signal seems to come out of the lan1 port at all once they are bridged. So I default back to using a standard internet feed out to an Orbi Mesh (RBK50).

Everything is working on the mesh except how to get my ip cameras visible to the outside world and the mangocam recording service. On the ip cameras I'm using a no-ip dns service , each camera has its own port and dedicated ip set e.g. 192.168.1.80 and 8080 I have tried the ddns setup on the camera it self and also on the orbi router with port forwarding of 8080 in and out udp/tcp....to no avail. When I test the current allocated IP for the house and port it's closed.

Thus given the orbi (192.168.1 1) is just feeding off the voda hg659 (192.168.0.1), what should I do to configure correctly? I don't have any port forwarding or ddns done on the voda at all.which I presume is part of the problem?

I rest my sanity in your hands and welcome your help! The overall issue stems from the house being too old with thick walls to support the wifi from the voda alone.

The 59 is your border, any NAT you set would need to be there.
