Which option for mesh network?

Hi, I just moved and got VM broadband. The coverage in the house is really poor and planning on setting up a mesh network.

Looked into it and am thinking of going for a TP-Link Deco M5.
I could go for the plus but read that in reality, there’s little benefit of tri-band.

Do people think that would be a good option or any recommendations for something else? Thanks

I have the M4 and am on VM also 500Mbit. Unless you need more than 500Mbit wireless I would just get the M4 as they are a lot cheaper.

You've probably purchase at this stage. Sincerely hope you went with M5. There is a lot of misinformation regarding speeds with these. If you have fibre broadband you are getting speeds in excess of 100 mbps. Thus you need at the very least the Deco M5. These have Gigabit LAN ports so they can transfer up to 1000mbps. Deco E4 and the like only have Megabit LAN ports with a transfer speed of 10/100 mbps. They will shoot out speeds of around 95mbps out of the rated 100mbps.
