    Hi

My significant other managed to get my car stuck in a field / swamp. This normally wouldn't be a problem but my tow hook seems to be missing. Would anyone in the Greater Dublin area be able to lend a tow hook for a 2014 CLS250?

I've tried every motor factors and breakers yard around.

This screw in towing eye may be a fairly common part to lots of car brands,

Ya you would imagine pretty much any towing eye would do the job

If I remember correctly they screw in anticlockwise

You would (and in fairness they should be universal), but most manufacturers use hugely varying Thread sizes and Pitches. And then some are anti-clockwise for some reason. Others are longer, to clear bodywork etc.
