I see that Aer Lingus are using the Airbus A320 for flights to Nantes in 2021.

Just a few questions for the airline experts, if I may.

Are these planes replacing the smaller Stobart planes?

The flight time is stated as 1 hour 40 minutes? I remember flying with Ryanair on the same route and I think the flight was about 1 hour 10 minutes?

Is the Airbus A320 similar in size to the Ryanair Boeing 737's?

    Thanks

Yes if it’s an a320 it’s an Aer lingus plane and not stobart.

The flight time includes all the time from when doors close on departure to arriving at the stand so actual time in the air will be more like 1 hour 10 mins.

Very similar size, both hold around 180 passengers 3 seats on each side and have two engines.

Be aware booking far out that aircraft type could change.

From memory Aer Lingus used their smaller regional aircraft on the Nantes route. I think that these were managed by Stobart. I might be wrong though.

As a result I flew Ryanair. Ryanair appear to have dropped this route for 2021.

We flew from Rennes to Dublin in 2013 in an ATR. Can only assume Stobart, and that they'd over a similar service from Nantes. A very efficient plane, but very slow and noisy.

Aer Lingus website shows the aircraft type during the booking
    12:50
    Dublin (DUB)
    1h 40m
    DUB - Terminal 2
EI 538 Aer Lingus AIRBUS A320
    15:30
    Nantes (NTE)

All flights operated by Stobart have 4 digit flight numbers beginning with 3

Has anyone flown from Palma Majorca to Menorca? I understand that the flight is less than 40 minutes?
