Having problems with Mk7 golf 1.6 diesel when started from cold there seems to be hesitation a most like a miss on a petrol engine are the injectors known to give trouble? It’s still under warranty in any event

They give trouble alright with the tips carboning up.

There is a cleaning agent supplied by to run through a tank of diesel to cure it, it generally works. In some extreme cases you need to replace some/ all injectors.
