    I bought laptop for 11 yr old daughter.What is necessary to make it safe for child to use.Anti virus and parental control etc and at low costs.

    Microsoft account for yourself can then have kids under your account and permissions and stuff will have to through you.
    You will get alerts asking for your permission if the child wants to access something or install something.

    The best way I think?.
    Have my own done that way.
