CGT share disposal question

Just a query as I want to remain within the realms of the law.

I’ve a CGT bill of a few Grand likely coming some stage next year.
I’ve a couple of losses, not much prob about 1ks worth, my understanding
Is once I hold them for over 4 weeks and dispose of them I can crystallise the loss.

Question:Should I decide to dispose of them early , is there any complications my wife buying the same shares using her account. I’m going to assume it won’t be an issue as it’s a separate transaction and person but wanted to know opinions.

We both have Degiro accounts with some shares the same in both accounts
