Splitting assets (no marriage)

    Hello.

We're a couple of people that have been together for 10 years. We moved to Ireland 7.5 years ago, and at this point we have a joint account and a mortgage we're paying for a property on both names.

Gross income is 70% 30%, it all goes to the same account.

Having no legal bound (marriage or similar), what could we expect when splitting? Our perspective is different, the person that provides 70% of income thinks a 70/30 split would be fair, while the other person wants a 50/50.

Thanks for the help, and sorry if this is not the correct forum (new to the website).

Joint tenancy or tenancy in common? Really if you're not married the only thing on the table is the house. Savings, pensions all belong to whoever's name they're in.
