Splitting assets (no marriage)

    Hello.

    We're a couple of people that have been together for 10 years. We moved to Ireland 7.5 years ago, and at this point we have a joint account and a mortgage we're paying for a property on both names.

    Gross income is 70% 30%, it all goes to the same account.

    Having no legal bound (marriage or similar), what could we expect when splitting? Our perspective is different, the person that provides 70% of income thinks a 70/30 split would be fair, while the other person wants a 50/50.

    Joint tenancy or tenancy in common? Really if you're not married the only thing on the table is the house. Savings, pensions all belong to whoever's name they're in.
