Hi, I have a shed with corrugated galvanised roof. It's leaking through onto to joists. Any suggestions how I can fix this or should I get someone in to have a look.
    Thanks.

    What pitch is the roof,
    Have you felt
Is it in one spot or all along the timber
    Is it multiple timbers
    Are the sheets full length
    Screws or nails
How close is this to the end of the sheets

Plus is this and isolated hole or due to general rust?

Wake me up when it's all over.

Hi. Pitch is less than 10°, rises no more than 2ft back to front.
No felt, think held with carriage bolt/ screw but I can't be sure.. there is rubber washers.
Multiple timbers but worst on the one higher/ closer to the front.
At worst Leakage covers approx a half of the timber, measured from middle with ends being dry.
Leak is isolated along timber. Thanks

Not isolated and no clear hole as such, I think it's seeping in around screws/ fixings. No rust.

I'll try get a picture but I don't get home till late the next couple of days.

If its nails with a rubber washer then they have loosened bait or the rubber is perished. I would take them out and drive long tech screws into the timber. The longer the better withings reason. Stop about an inch above the roof and put a squirt of tech 7 silicone around the screws to seal any irregularity and drive the screw home. Use enough to get a small bead squeezing out

Sounds like a plan. I have 125mm tech screw but I reckon their a good bit thinner than what's already in. Will have to see.

If its tiny gaps and that the water is wicking into then I use this strangely named stuff Captain Tolley’s Creeping Crack Cure. It would do under washers that looked tight but might otherwise be leeking. If there is a gap the stuff creeps into it.
