Would anyone know where to source a Steel Series 7x headset in Ireland please? I know it's late in the day but I'm trying to pick one up as they seem to be the only headset that work well with all consoles from that brand

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I bought one of these the last day from the official website.
The price was €180, but they had a 10% discount banner which brought it down to under €170.

You can only get the normal version here which has comparability issues and i think it was €180ish in Currys, maybe Gamestop too.

So in short, the official website seems to be the best place to buy at present. Even Amazon wasn't an option, I think they were out of stock.

As mentioned the 7x only appears to be available directly from Steelseries atm, there are a bunch of streamer affiliate codes floating about that will give you 16% off on their store.

Failing that you can get a pair of Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox for around €120 in Gamestop or Argos. These have the same drivers as the 7x, they do have a poorer mic and headband though, and runs on all formats using the exact same usb-c dongle. It comes packaged with a 1 month GPU code as well.

As a gamer that has all consoles (series x and PS5 incl) I'm just trying to source a decent headset that can be used by all. It's bizzare that the 9 or Pro series can't replicate the dongle used with the 7x to make them multiplatformed.
