It was a different world altogether....

I still strongly believe we should have shut down and cut China, this won't be the last thing to come out of there.....

We should be manufacturing our own ppe etc....

They are making way too much from the **** show they created.

This time last year I received a termination notice of a property I was renting.

This will be my first Christmas in a house that I actually own.

This time last year my lovely dog was dying. He eventually went on the 23rd so that pretty much ruined Christmas. This year will be a bit better.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special

I know how you felt, I had some of my dogs stolen before Christmas a number of years ago and never seen again, maybe for blooding fighting dogs, I felt down for a long time after it. Christmas was ruined.
Its a bad time of the year for sad events to happen.

This time last year I was exactly where I am at this time this year.... Abed on the island with the cats. Stability and predictability... and I hope and intend to be in exactly the same place this time next year.

This time last year I was devastated after a close family member died during the year. I didnt meet anyone or go anywhere and I didn't want to. This year I am hoping to spend it with close family. I'll be working a good bit but am looking forward to a good game of cluedo in the evenings.

This time last year I couldn't drink at Christmas because I was pregnant and I swore I'd make up for it this year with some nice shiraz and a rioja or two.

This year I also can't drink because we are idiotic people and I'm pregnant again.

That's awful because you don't even get closure. So sorry to hear that, I'd go mad if that was my wee dog :(
