    Sorry not sure if this was the right forum.

    Is the Series exams any use for employment in Ireland or is it something more US based? I think there's doubts about how useful a CFA is, so maybe the S7 is even less useful?

    Series7 is used in the states. IMHO waste of time doing it in ireland.


    What areas in finance are you looking to enter?


    CFA is widely recognised. It would seem every Tom, Dick and Harry are seating for them especially chinese and Indians - though more of a culture thing. So with FRM,CAIA



    Having the CFA helps in the sense, it gets you an interview.


    Just my 2c.
